What to Expect During  your Tour of the Falls

Arrival At The Entrance

Your journey begins at the entrance gate to Victoria Falls National Park, which is usually located on the Zimbabwean side of the falls

 

Scenic Trails

Once inside the park, you’ll embark on a guided walk along well-maintained trails that offer various viewpoints of the falls. These trails wind through lush rainforests, giving you a taste of the region’s rich biodiversity.

Viewing Platforms

 As you approach the falls, you’ll come across a series of viewing platforms strategically placed to offer stunning panoramic views. The most famous of these is the “Knife-Edge Bridge,” where you can stand directly above the churning waters and feel the mist on your face

 

Main Falls

The highlight of your tour will undoubtedly be the sight of the main falls, known locally as “Mosi-oa-Tunya,” which means “The Smoke That Thunders.” The falls span approximately 1,708 meters (5,604 feet) across and plunge to a depth of about 108 meters (354 feet).
